I recall a well-traveled friend saying he estimated it would take another 40 dedicated years to see the places that remained on his bucket list. I found this remarkable as he was in his mid 30's at the time and had already devoted a significant chunk of his life to the effort. But his comment drives home a simple point. Rather, what we've included is a list of 50 that sample the world's man-made and natural wanders, and cultural diversity. All the places listed are worthy additions to any bucket list. They just represent the tip of the iceberg.
