The High Plateau
Atacama, Chile, 2017
Traveling across the Atacama desert between Paso Sico and San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. The Atacama is remarkably beautiful. Flanked by the Andes to the east, the Atacama is the driest (non-polar) desert on earth. It's a sparsely populated landscaped that's home to many of Chile's most remarkable natural wonders including the lunar-like landscape of Valle de la Luna, steaming geysers of El Tatio, flamingo rich Chaxas Lagoon, and snowcapped volcanoes of the Andes.
