The Playa

Nevada, USA, 2015

Following our ride from California to Alaska, we spent 6 weeks in Truckee, CA. Truckee proved an excellent R&R stop following a long summer of riding between Santa Barbara and Deadhorse. Staying in a mountain house surrounded by National Forest, our layover gave us lots of time to hike, trail run, and motorcycle the Sierra Nevadas.

This photo was taken during a spirited day of riding with friend Christian Pelletier on fire roads, ATV tracks, and The Playa - a salt pan-like flat, north of Reno, which has become famous for hosting Burning Man.
