Winter in Patagonia

A snowy winter day in Patagonia, Chile. Driving north up the Carretera Austral from Villa Cerro Castillo to Coyhaique following the first big winter snowstorm. We spent four months in Patagonia (between Argentina and Chile). During that time we watched Patagonia transition seasons from late summer to autumn and then winter. Patagonia's beautiful anytime of year. Blanked in fresh snow, however, it's a truly magical place.
