Zebras Drinking

Zebras drinking along the Kwando River. I took this image in November 2016 from a hide overlooking the river. It was a spot in which we planned to stay a few minutes but ended up lazing away an entire day watching elephants, zebras, lions, baboons, and myriad other wildlife as they came down to the river to drink. Of the images we took that day, this is one of our favorites. Like a kid playing with his food at the dinner table, this little zebra foal refused to take his place at the table, instead splashing about in the Kwando's refreshing waters.
